• But without the daily hassle - you set it and forget it for the week.
• Player salaries are based on recent performance and adjusted weekly using FanDuel's salaries.

Building Your Weekly Lineup:

• Construct your roster by staying under the $60k salary cap across these positions: PG, PG, SG, SG, SF, SF, PF, PF, C.
• Submit your lineup before the first playoff game of the week.
• Watch your players' real performances translate into live scoring updates. We use balldontlie's free NBA API.

Scoring Broken Down:

• 3-Pointer Made: +1 point
• Field Goal Made: +2 points
• Free Throw Made: +1 point
• Turnover: -1 point
• Steal: +3 points
• Block: +3 points
• Assist: +1.5 points
• Rebound: +1.2 points



Example: If a player scores 3 field goals, 2 free throws, 1 three, 5 assists, 7 rebounds, but 3 turnovers, their total would be 21.4 points.

Handling Injuries/Missed Games:

• An injury or missed game? Don't worry, we take the average of each player's scores over the week to account for any imbalance.

Tracking Your Progress:

• Check the weekly and overall standings on the interactive dashboard.

What is the current status of Hoop'd Playoffs Fantasy?



• Hoop'd Playoffs Fantasy is currently in beta mode. This means that while we have successfully run the weekly pick'em format during the regular NBA season, the playoffs version is a work-in-progress. We used Google Apps and Google Scripts as a makeshift solution to test and validate the concept with an engaged group of users like yourself. Now I've built a more app-version of this game which you'll be using.


• Our goal is to create the most engaging and user-friendly fantasy basketball experience for the playoffs. By running a beta test, we can gather valuable feedback, identify areas for improvement, and incorporate your insights into the final product. This iterative approach ensures that we deliver a polished and enjoyable experience when the full app launches.
